Membership
Requirements |
The club was formed to promote
ballroom and social dancing in the UH community. The club offers lessons,
dances, and competitions for its members' benefit. Membership in the club is
open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The eligibility of all other
persons interested in ballroom and social dancing is determined by the
discretion of the executive board. Membership dues are $20.00 per semester or
$50.00 per year for UH main campus students and $30.00 per semester or $80.00
per year for non-UH students. You do not have to know how to dance or have a
partner to join the club!
All eligible persons can apply
for membership by filling out the membership request and paying the required
membership dues set by the SDC-UH officers. All applications for membership
from eligible UH students, faculty, staff, and alumni will be approved
automatically. All applications for membership from other eligible persons will
be approved subject to membership quota limitations specified by the SDC-UH
officers. Membership will lapse unless renewed every semester or every year.

University Center (UC), downstairs, across from the UH book store, in Room 12

membership request and paying the membership dues. |
